This year I was lucky enough to join a party of ladies who travel annually to Ascot for Ladies Day.
The joyous sojourn was not adversely affected by the weather conditions or by the fact that although missed, one of the regular party had prior commitments and couldn't make it this year--hence the spare ticket.
